Nevertheless, the fact it is a relatively easy career to get into isn’t the slightest indication that your journey will be a smooth ride. There is a lot of hard work involve; many sleepless nights, phone calls to be made and people to fire, but at the end of the day, when all is said and done, only those with enough drive and determination will stand the test of time. OverExposed: What Else Will you Have to Offer Ten Years From Now?

pickup-lines-slapThe reason why I ask that question is because I find it mind-boggling how a lot of females are eager to request that guys treat them with respect, but the minute someone ask them “would you like to take a picture for my website?” they almost instantly stick their Butt or Breast out [depending on which is bigger]. As a guy who does appreciate a confident and curvy empress; I find it contradicting to some extent when on one hand a female demands respect, but conducts her self in a manner that attracts unfavorable attention. It is nice to be proud of your own skin/body, but why put yourself out their as “the girl whose ass is always” out and about. Are you generating respect or an army or perverted followers? Community, Political and Church Leaders: Being Selective of Who you Choose to Follow.

dead-end-signTelevision stations, radio shows, online blogs, news papers and magazines have been bombarded over the past few months with news of pastors, government officials and social activists behaving in a manner that would make anyone question their true motives. Do they really believe in what they preach or are they merely putting on a show in order to get favorable reviews? Perhaps i am being naive or overly critical of individuals in power, but i personally believe that my thoughts in regards to this issue is shared across various spectrum. Truth is, we all have said or done things in our past that we would not feel proud to admit. In fact, most of the times we live our lives with feelings of guilt, because we are forced to come to grips with not been able to undo the hurt or pain caused by our actions. Have you ever felt like you didn’t get your money’s worth after leaving a party?

34_gold_guaranteeThe last time I went to a club was in fall of 2007 when a former friend of mine convinced me to attend a party at a popular club in Queens, New York. That night, I did not feel excited about leaving my warm bed to go anywhere, but because I had developed a reputation of turning down party invitations – I decided to break the trend.

We arrived at the party at approximately 12:30 am, paid the entrance fee ($20 USD) and got the shock of our lives when we realized that the club was almost empty. And to make matters worst, the DJ/Soundman was still trying to get his speakers and microphone to work properly. Nonetheless, if I had known that a portion of the party would involve us standing aimlessly while the DJ yells “microphone check, microphone check” one too many times, I would have stayed home.   Continue reading →
