I came across the following post on WeJamaicans.com’s discussion forum and thought that i should bring it to your attention.

Well, me being the lonely loving heart, picked this IDIOT out of the bunch and decided to start chatting with him, chatting, let to emailing, emailing led to phone conversations, before I knew it – it was love, just based on the phone conversations. Next, I flew from the U.S. down to see him, liked what I saw, liked him, but to discover that he didn’t really have a job, since he had been out of jail for 1 year – well, me being sympathetic, thought it was okay, he claims he was trying to start up his business, which I fell for. Then, I flew down the next month, and the next month, after talking with him over and over again, we BOTH came to the decision to get married – we’re in our late 40’s! So, planned the wedding, did the wedding in Jamaica, and after all of his promises, I believed in him….
