The infamous Goodas title is widely used by females at dancehall events as a way to show that they are “better than the rest.” They reinforce this belief by perpetuating a lifestyle that involves dressing in expensive outfits, popping champagne bottles and sending colorful personalized messages to every man, woman and flies while in front of the video light. Wifey, on the other hand, is more reserved, sophisticated, and is rarely seen at parties parading her stuff in order to get attention from photographers, Videographers and patrons. In the eyes of onlookers; Goodas seem to have it all, but in reality, Wifey’s sophistication and class puts her in league of her own.

Wifey:

1. has unlimited access to her husband’s bank account and credit cards, whereas Goodas gets irregular weekly or monthly allowances.

3. will get half of her significant other’s assets after a breakup, whereas Goodas gets a disconnection notice from Sprit, ATT, MetroPCS or T-Mobile.

4. goes on romantic dates and trips with her significant other, whereas Goods gets taken to the movies at night when it is convenient.

5. dresses only to impress her husband, whereas Goodas dresses to impress friends and the next guy she hopes would pay her phone bill.

6. entertain friends at home on weekends, whereas Goodas spends her time gossiping at neighborhood beauty salons.

7. has a close relationship with her significant other’s family members, whereas Goodas accidentally gets introduced to friends at parties.

8. rides in the front seat of her husband’s car, whereas Goodas ride in the backseat of a taxi cab.
