1. Ding Dong – His vocal and lyrical limitations coupled with poor on stage performances is reason enough to encourage him to cut his “Holiday” short and return to dancing.
2. Spice – There can only be one queen of dancehall music and that is lady saw. Therefore, Spice’s lack of lyrical relevance and close to comedic onstage performances puts her nowhere close to the queen.
3. Vybz Kartel – I was a big fan of the infamous leader of Portmore Empire when he first stormed into the dancehall limelight. But over the past few years, I think that he has gotten too comfortable at the top and as a result lost the edge the once had. Lyrically, Kartel is extremely talented, but releasing a ton of off key songs and half-made music videos proves that he needs to go back to the drawing board.
4. Flippa Mafia – There isn’t much I could say about the self proclaimed king of floss. Because to be frank with you, I think he needs to abandon his music career and become a promoter of dancehall parties and stage shows.
5. Ninja Man – As a prominent member of dancehall music from as far back as I can remember. Ninja man has had the most colorful and eventful career as any other dancehall artist who came up during the early nineties. Today, he is still an active member of the dancehall community, but not on the same level as most dancehall artists. Instead of using his experience to adopt to the ever changing dancehall atmosphere, he remains stuck in the early nineties.
6. Bounty Killer – Am I the only one that is sick and tired of listening to Bounty Killer sing the same old songs over and over again” The self proclaimed poor people governor needs to hire a good song writer or form am oldies but goodies sound system and name it “I-Are-The-One-International.”
7. Munga – Not only is he not lyrically on the same level as Assasin, and Busy Signal, but he needs to add closed-caption to his music videos.
8. Mr. Lexx – If you should randomly select one of his songs and do a word count, don’t be surprise to discover that it is made up primarily of one or two liner hooks.
10. Black Rhyno – He needs to go find his biological father, because you and I know that Kartel is not his “Daddy.” Vocally, he wouldn’t last one second on Jamaica’s version of American idol.
