The Breakable Bond of Friendship
A few weeks ago I received a phone call from a friend I went to college with. I had not seen or heard from her in a couple of years, so it was a total surprise to get a call from someone I once considered the little sister I never had. Two years had gone by without hearing from her and if my memory serves me correctly, the reason why I severed ties was because she failed to return my messages on numerous occasions. Forum Topic: Why are the Jamaican men using us American Women like dogs?

Then, I flew down the next month, and the next month, after talking with him over and over again, we BOTH came to the decision to get married – we’re in our late 40’s! So, planned the wedding, did the wedding in Jamaica, and after all of his promises, I believed in him….

I can’t seem to understand what on earth would possess a guy in his late twenties/early thirties to date a girl young enough to be his sister.
The other day I was on a Brooklyn bound number four train when a young lady in her late teens confidently came onboard hand-in-hand with a much older. Without much hesitation, they began to put on a small make-out session to either prove that they are deeply “in love” or gross the living daylight out of us. Looking at the facial expression of those who saw what was happening, it was clear that they felt disgusted by what was unfolding before their eyes. Continue reading →
