OverExposed: What Else Will you Have to Offer Ten Years From Now?

pickup-lines-slapThe reason why I ask that question is because I find it mind-boggling how a lot of females are eager to request that guys treat them with respect, but the minute someone ask them “would you like to take a picture for my website?” they almost instantly stick their Butt or Breast out [depending on which is bigger]. As a guy who does appreciate a confident and curvy empress; I find it contradicting to some extent when on one hand a female demands respect, but conducts her self in a manner that attracts unfavorable attention. It is nice to be proud of your own skin/body, but why put yourself out their as “the girl whose ass is always” out and about. Are you generating respect or an army or perverted followers? Dressing Not To Impress: Comfort Ova’ Fashion

Kadeem-HardisonA couple months ago when president Obama wore a loosely fitted jeans to throw the opening pitch at a Major League ALL-Star baseball game in St. Louis people were in uproar. Perhaps something more comfortable? I’m almost certain that you wanted to wear something that complimented your mood at that point, but failed to act on it simply because you were more concerned about what other people might say about your outfit. Soundmen: “Fyah Bun Man Weh Wear Fitted Jeans”

SkinnyJeansThe increase popularity in wearing fitted jeans is no news to patrons who frequent popular dancehall parties throughout New York. But despite the fact that it is considered a relatively old fashion trend in dancehall culture, a lot of soundmen refuse to shy away from openly venting their disapproval. To express this, they often resort to the unthinkable: associating the new fashion trend with homosexuality and encouraging partygoers to distance themselves from such individuals.

The question of why are a lot of soundmen against fitted jeans could be explained with, but not limited to the following reasons. Firstly, a lot of them are insecure about their physical appearance to even consider wearing fitted jeans. Secondly, they are insecure about their own sexuality to the extent that they worry about loosing their masculinity. Thirdly, a lot of them are arrogant in their way of thinking to justify using a person’s fashion taste as a way to determine his or her true sexuality.  And lastly, they lack the knowledge, experience and talent needed to keep partygoers entertained without having to resort to throwing cheep insults a selected group of individuals within the party. The often verbal attacks against men who wear fitted jeans have not discouraged men who embrace the fashion trend since the benefits by far outweighs the negatives. Continue reading →
